WHERE IS THIS?
This little slice of heaven is the Toe River Lodge located in the
quaint valley of Plumtree, NC. The Toe River Lodge is a five
bedroom B&B and gourmet restaurant. We specialize in catering
to small groups of close friends who want a private getaway from
the fast pace of life in order to slow down and enjoy the great
company, food, and atmosphere

YOUR ITINERARY
Start out by arriving at the Lodge on Friday evening to homemade
pizza customized to your taste buds. Choose one of our specialty
pies such as veggie lovers, supreme, or the lodge stampede. All
that remains for the evening is to relax, sleep, and get ready for breakfast.

SATURDAY MORNING
Wake up early for that cup of coffee by the fire or sleep in until
breakfast is on the table. Breakfast is served family style with
French toast, sausage, bacon, biscuits n' gravy, eggs or quiche,
baked and fresh fruit, and cheesy potato casserole. Complimented
with juice, milk or coffee and you have a meal fit for a king.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Use the day to tour the local areas or relax with a book or a
friendly game of pool. You can tour on your own or have one of
us show you around. Embrace the elements and go skiing,or go
shopping and stay warm. Enjoy lunch on your own at one of the
many nearby restaurants, but eat lightly to save room for the
smorgasbord to come.

SATURDAY EVENING
Start off with salad and homemade bread, followed by appetizers
of baked brie & fruit or shrimp cocktails. Move on to entrees like
crab cakes, beef Wellington, filet mignon, shish kabobs, center cut
sirloin, BBQ country style ribs, lemon pepper chicken, or rainbow
trout caught right out of our pond. Finish the meal with one of our
mouth watering desserts like chocolate almond torte, or strawberry
rhubarb pie.

LIVE FIRE PERFORMANCE!!!
After your dining experience, Juggler and fire performer Will Young
will put on a private show for you and your friends. Watch demonstrations
of Maori dance art of Poi, fire sticks, and fire staff. If you are lucky,
Cleveland Young will join Will and demonstrate his skills as a fire breather.

SUNDAY MORNING
Stroll down to the kitchen at your leisure and choose from a variety of
breakfast entrees prepared by your chef. Enjoy the Lodge for as long as
you like on Sunday.

We invite you to stay one more night on us if you wish. Wake up Monday
morning for a continental breakfast and a casual drive back home.

All of this is offered to you for $500 per couple. That's only $250/person.

Purchase two cases of wine and we'll cook you horsdoeuvres for Saturday afternoon at no additional expense.

This price includes your lodging for three nights, pizza dinner on Friday,
Saturday breakfast and evening meal, live fire performance, and breakfast
on Sunday and Monday morning (should you choose to stay your third
night and leave Monday)

The food, lodging, and entertainment of a weekend at the Lodge can only
be rivaled by the winter scenery at beautiful
Plumtree in Avery County N.C.
Remember that we are now selling our wines, but feel free to bring a couple of
bottles of that wine you've been dying to share with your
friends and leave the cooking up to us.

If you wish to bring more people it can be arranged, but please call so we can explain the details of the lodging situation. In order to secure your weekend we must receive a $1000.00 deposit and balance of $1500.00 due upon arrival. Your deposit is 1/2 refundable up to two weeks before your reservation date.
